Car Detailing

Professional cleaning and protection for your car, from exterior washing to interior care and polishing.

From an everyday car to a showroom car

Car detailing goes beyond a standard wash. It is a thorough cleaning and treatment process that involves polishing the paintwork, removing scratches and swirl marks, and completely refreshing the interior. The end result: a car that looks as good as new — or even better. WrapBaas offers professional detailing for private and business drivers who want to maintain their vehicle to the highest standard. Detailing is also the ideal preparation before a car wrap — a clean, flawless paint finish ensures the best adhesion of the film.

Car polishing: no more scratches or swirl marks

Polishing is at the heart of good detailing. Machine polishing (paint correction) removes fine scratches, swirl marks and oxidation from the paintwork. The result is a deep shine and a smooth, mirror-like finish that retains protection more effectively. Depending on the condition of the paintwork, we use either a one-step polish or a multi-step correction process. A polished paintwork is also the perfect base for Paint Protection Film (PPF) — this ensures that no imperfections are trapped under the film.

Interior cleaning: fresh and stain-free

A thorough interior clean includes vacuuming, treating stains on fabric and leather, cleaning the dashboard and all plastic parts, and treating the leather with a protective conditioner. Stains, odours and dirt are expertly removed to ensure a fresh and hygienic interior.

Paintwork protection after detailing

After polishing, we always recommend applying a protective coating. This could be carnauba wax for a warm shine (3–6 months’ protection), a synthetic sealant (6–12 months) or a ceramic coating for maximum durability (2–5 years). This keeps the paintwork looking good for longer and makes it easier to keep clean.

Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ

How much does car detailing cost?
The price depends on the package and the size of the vehicle. A basic service (hand wash + polish + wax) starts at around €150. A full detailing package, including the interior and paint correction, usually costs between €350 and €800. Request a no-obligation quote.
How long does a detailed session last?
A full detailing treatment usually takes a whole working day (6–8 hours). A basic polish without the interior can be done in 3–4 hours. We always allow plenty of time to ensure a thorough result.
What is paint correction?
Paint correction is the machine-based removal of fine scratches, swirl marks and oxidation from the paintwork. This is carried out using a polishing machine and specially formulated compounds and polishes. The result is a deeper shine and a more visually appealing finish.
Are all scratches removed during polishing?
Fine scratches and swirl marks are usually removed completely. Deep scratches that reach down to the primer or the metal are beyond the scope of detailing and require a paint protection treatment or a visit to the paint shop.
How often should I have my car detailed?
That depends on how you use and store it. For most cars, a full detailing treatment once or twice a year is ideal. In the meantime, you can maintain the car with a good wax or sealant.
Is a ceramic coating part of car detailing?
A ceramic coating is an optional extra following the polishing stage. We offer this as a separate service under ‘Ceramic & Glass Coating’. As part of a detailing treatment, we always advise you on which protection is best suited to your situation.
Can my car interior also be cleaned if it is heavily soiled?
Yes, even with tougher stains such as marks, odours or pet hair. We use professional extraction machines and treatment products for fabrics, leather and synthetic materials.
Can I just take my car through the car wash after it’s been detailed?
We recommend waiting at least two weeks after a polishing treatment before taking your car to a car wash. After that, it is best to wash it by hand or use a brushless car wash to protect the paintwork and protective coating.
Is detailing also suitable for lease or company cars?
Absolutely. Detailing is particularly popular at the end of a lease to ensure the car is returned in the best possible condition and to avoid any penalties for damage.

WrapBaas operates throughout the Netherlands. Please get in touch to check availability in your area and receive a quote within 24 hours.
