Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ

How much does kitchen wrapping cost?
The cost depends on the number of doors, the dimensions and the film chosen. As a rough guide: an average kitchen with 10–15 doors costs a fraction of the price of a new kitchen. Request a no-obligation quote via our quote form for an exact, bespoke price.
How long does it take to wrap a kitchen?
An average kitchen can be fitted in one to two days. For larger kitchens, or those requiring a worktop and splashback, we allow for several days.
What styles are possible?
Wood-effect, matt black, matt white, concrete-effect, anthracite, dark grey, high-gloss colours and much more. Wood-effect is the most popular choice. We’d be happy to advise you on the look that best suits your kitchen.
Is kitchen wrapping suitable for my kitchen?
Wrapping works best on smooth or slightly textured doors made of MDF, chipboard or laminate. Doors with deep mouldings may not be entirely suitable. Send us a photo via the quote form and we’ll let you know straight away.
How long does a wrapped kitchen last?
When fitted professionally and used under normal conditions, kitchen film will last between 5 and 10 years. With proper care — cleaning with a damp cloth and a mild detergent — it will continue to look as good as new for a long time.
Are the edges and hinge sides also wrapped?
Yes. We wrap every door completely — including the edges and hinge sides. That way, the finish looks neat all round.
Can I have the splashback and worktop wrapped at the same time?
Yes. Many customers combine kitchen door wrapping with the splashback and worktop for a complete makeover. Please mention this when requesting a quote, and we’ll combine everything into one or two visits.
Is the film resistant to moisture, steam and heat?
We use film that is specifically designed for kitchens and is resistant to moisture and steam. We advise against placing direct sources of heat, such as hot pans, directly against the door. The film is perfectly suitable for normal kitchen use.
Are the doors removed before they are wrapped?
Yes. To achieve the best result, we temporarily remove the doors and wrap them flat. This also allows us to finish the edges perfectly. The doors are then simply put back in place.
How do I request a quote?
Please complete the quote form on our website. Specify the number of doors and your preferred style, and feel free to include a photo if you wish. You will receive a no-obligation quote within 24 hours.
