How does security film work?
Security film is a thick, multi-layered polyester film that is applied to the inside of the glass. In the event of a blow, a kick or the use of tools, the film holds the glass shards together. The glass may break, but it remains in the frame as a single, coherent unit. A burglar who would normally break through a window in seconds now needs minutes — and usually gives up.
Applications: for which buildings and windows?
Security film is particularly valuable for shops with display windows, ground-floor office buildings, hospitality venues and restaurants, schools and healthcare facilities, and premises in areas prone to burglary.
