Privacy without walls: frosted glass and sandblasted film for the office

Glass walls and windows give an office an open and modern look, but offer little privacy. With professional frosted or sandblasted film, WrapBaas can provide privacy wherever you want it — without the need for building work, without fixed glazing, and at a fraction of the cost of real frosted glass. Combine privacy film with window lettering for functional and promotional window solutions.

What our clients say

We had our entire fleet lettered all at once. It was organised professionally and at a competitive price. Our buses are now driving around like mobile advertising hoardings!

Rotterdam — Vehicle fleet lettering

The new façade signage really catches the eye. We’ve already noticed more footfall in the shop since the signage was installed. WrapBaas did a brilliant job.

Tilburg — Privacy Film

Frosted glass film, sandblasted film or decorative film — what’s the difference?

Frosted glass film provides an even, light-transmitting privacy effect that closely resembles real frosted glass. Sandblasted film has a slightly coarser texture and gives a more authentic sandblasted look. Decorative variants combine privacy with graphic elements: stripes, geometric patterns, your logo or a custom design. All variants allow daylight to pass through whilst blocking direct views.

Applications in office and business environments

The most common applications are meeting rooms and boardrooms with glass walls, office partitions, reception areas and public service counters, showrooms, treatment rooms and consultation rooms, and ground-floor windows in busy locations. We apply the film to order — either fully covering the surface, partially (a strip at eye level) or in a custom pattern. For added comfort, you can combine privacy film with sun-blocking film.

Incorporating a logo or corporate identity into the privacy film

Privacy film doesn’t have to be purely functional. We combine the frosted glass or sandblasted effect with your company logo, a slogan or a graphic pattern. The result is a sleek, professional look that offers privacy whilst reinforcing your corporate identity. Popular for meeting rooms, reception areas and showrooms. You might also want to consider safety film for extra protection for your glass surfaces.

Removable and suitable for rented properties

Window film can be removed completely without damaging the glass. This makes it ideal for rented commercial premises: when moving out of the premises or during a rebranding, the film can be easily removed and replaced. No permanent alterations are required, and no permission from the landlord is needed for removal.

Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ

How much does privacy film for the office cost?
The price depends on the glass surface area, the film chosen and any printing or decoration. Standard frosted glass film is affordable per square metre; decorative or printed variants are more expensive. Use our quotation form to receive an exact price within 24 hours.
What is the difference between frosted glass film and sandblasted film?
Frosted glass film creates an even, matt finish similar to factory-produced frosted glass. Sandblasted film has a fine-grained texture that mimics the look of etched or sandblasted glass. The privacy effect is similar; the main difference lies in the visual texture.
Can the film be applied in sections?
Yes. A popular option is a privacy strip at eye level — where the top and bottom of the pane remain transparent to create an open feel, but direct views in are blocked. We can customise the film to any size and position you require.
Could you incorporate our logo into the film?
Yes. We combine the privacy effect with a printed logo, slogan or graphic element. This is popular for meeting rooms, reception areas and showrooms. We take care of the design and production.
Can window film be removed?
Yes. Professionally fitted window film can be removed without leaving any residue or causing damage to the glass. Ideal for rented properties or if the corporate identity changes.
How long does window film last?
Under normal use, interior film lasts for 7 to 10 years. Exterior film is weather-resistant and lasts for 5 to 7 years.
What is the difference between this service and window lettering?
Privacy film & sandblasting are designed to provide privacy and create a frosted glass effect on glass surfaces. Window lettering is used for advertising and informational text on shop windows or office windows. Both applications can be combined.
Can you also treat large glass walls?
Yes. We work with all sizes of glass, from small windows to full-height, floor-to-ceiling glass office partitions. Larger projects are carried out in phases where necessary.
In which area do you operate?
WrapBaas operates throughout the Netherlands. Please get in touch to find out about our current coverage in your area.
How do I request a quote?
Fill in the quote form on our website, provide the dimensions or photos of the glass surfaces, and describe the effect you’re looking for. You’ll receive a bespoke quote within 24 hours.
